I’m not a big advocate of store-bought veggie burgers but when I do buy them I look for non-gmo patties. Sol has some really nice ones including their original and black bean patties. The texture is nice and the ingredients don’t scare me. They’re in the frozen natural foods section of my grocery store.
This burger was garnished with avocado, spiralized raw yam, tomato slices and homemade pickles on a romaine lettuce ‘bun.’
2 cloves garlic
1 generous tablespoon miso paste
3 teaspoons soy sauce
1 squeeze of fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
–Combine all ingredients in a magic bullet or like appliance and pour over salad makings. My salad included:
-black and green kale
-raw yam noodles
-lemon and orange zest
I think the avocado and sauerkraut are integral to the deliciousness of this salad.
